Start Early
Ideally, leave the coast by 7:00 AM to beat the traffic getting into Ubud. The morning light through the jungle is worth the wake-up call.
Stop 1: Tegenungan Waterfall
Located just south of Ubud, this powerful waterfall is easy to access. Go here first before the tour buses arrive at 10 AM.
Stop 2: Tibumana Waterfall
A short ride away, Tibumana is famous for its perfect straight curtain of water. The road leading there is lined with beautiful palm trees—a perfect photo op.
Stop 3: Kanto Lampo
End the water tour at Kanto Lampo. This tiered waterfall is unique because you can climb onto the rocks and let the water massage your back. It is very photogenic!
Lunch with a View
Head back towards Ubud for lunch. We recommend warungs on the ridge of Campuhan or overlooking the rice fields in Tegallalang.
